However, accessing the internal help system will freeze the game (the music continues to play) and the only way out of it is closing Citra and opening it again. Culdcept: Revolt is the latest instalment of this cult, somewhat confidential saga. It offers a unique concept that blends board game, card game and role playing game together. It is definitely a must for whoever likes board games but wants to play on the go.

Despite its intimidating outer layer, Culdcept Revolt is something of a hidden gem that deserves the attention of anyone with an interest in card collecting, strategy, or even just board games in general. It's wildly addictive, and boasts a robust single player component as well as both local and online multiplayer to satisfy any craving for its unique, genre-blending mechanics.

While Revolt's unflinching dedication to these core mechanics does hurt its story somewhat through repetition, new players will be welcomed by a wonderfully-implemented tutorial, while returning cepters have plenty of new tweaks and features to check out. Seasoned card battlers and intrigued newcomers alike should be interested in Culdcept Revolt. Its complexity and customisability makes it one of the most replayable games in the 3DS' library, even just in single-player, while its accessible online play and well-crafted tutorial make it a perfect jumping-on point. More than just a card gaming simulator, there's plenty of care and attention poured into this; its wealth of cards and malleable multiplayer make it a genuinely viable alternative to traditional tabletop games.

Since we're nearing the tax-filing deadline in the USA, and money concerns are on a lot of people's minds at the moment, OldWillowScrub thought it'd be fun to explore the various G-producing cards in Culdcept Revolt. Creating more G in hand is often overlooked by Revolt players, as we're given an increasingly nice G bonus at the start of each turn.

That is, having enough G in hand is rarely a problem. Even so, adding a solid G-production component to your strategy can take it from very good to exceptional. As you'll see when reading this guide, many G cards have other uses as well, and you don't necessarily have to use up much of your precious 50 cards to make your fortune. I'm not going to explore every possibility - I mean, those are endless anyway. Also, the value of some cards here might not be apparent at first. If you're still not seeing how one or more of these cards can help you, feel free to visit the #cards channel of our and ask questions - we're always happy to help. The idea is to use this guide as inspiration and let the info in it help improve your game.

As far as gathering them is concerned, it’s not too hard to score holodiscs for yourself, as they’re usually available in crew runs. Star wars uprising google play. Still, don’t spend them right away just because they’re easy to score; you may, for example, be interested in the cheapest available crate that can be bought with holodiscs, but that’s only going to include Tier 1 items inside.

Stupid cheap, and he can use anything to make opponents' lives miserable. The problem with him in Culdcept Revolt is, well. His theft just doesn't really hurt your opponents as badly, because of the aforementioned turn G bonus. Still, supplementing your G in hand by taking it from an opponent - while smashing one of their creatures - is always useful.Clockwork Owl doesn't produce G for you directly. Instead, its handy ability helps you lap more quickly, and that absolutely will produce more G for you. Coupled with other fast-lapping cards, you can potentially earn absurd amounts of G in the later stages of a match.

The Owl also can improve your overall bottom line by helping you avoid big tolls. The last two are perhaps not quite as effective, mainly because death is involved. Sure, you can keep Creeping Coin alive to profit more than once, but it's difficult, and its puny 10ST means you're not really going to hurt anyone in the process. If there's a strategy that makes effective use of these two, I'd love to see it.Last Updated on Friday, 03 April 2020 13:52. Recently in our, we were talking about the excellent card artwork in the series, and I mentioned that I noticed several cards in received updated artwork.

I found it fascinating that they would revise the artwork on just a few cards.I didn't think much more about it after that, but I thought it would make for a fun article topic for March. I decided to dig through Culdcept Revolt's card collection and was intrigued to discover that there's a pattern to it - the updated cards are all drawn by artist Ippei Soeda. As it turns out, there are 11 cards in the game with revised artwork, and I think each one is an improvement. Their changes range from very subtle tweaks to some pretty jaw-dropping effects.Let's compare the cards side-by-side, with the great original artwork from on the left, and the even better update in Culdcept Revolt on the right.

You can click or tap on each card to view it full-size. Think of it as a Culdcept version of. Haha.I completely missed this card's subtle changes until I began writing this article. On the 3DS's small screen, Thief looks pretty much the same as before. It's not until you look at the artwork full-size that you realize there are actually several differences. First, she has a different, more angular face.

Second, Her grip on the knife is tighter. Third, the knife itself now has a gleam to it. And finally, the foliage she's hiding in is much more dense, lush and vibrant than it was. There are probably more - I stopped counting at four. You can clearly see Fay's dramatic makeover, and I love it. She's described in Culdcept Revolt as 'a beautiful witch', and she now looks both more beautiful and more witchy, to me at least. Can you spot everything he altered and added? Here's just a few: 1) She's wearing a completely different camisole now.

2) The background is massively improved, with floating crystals and a mystical aura. 3) She's wearing what looks somewhat like a, a tool card from Culdcept II. There's tons more - keep looking!Last Updated on Sunday, 01 March 2020 11:53. For February's article, I thought it'd be fun to do a deep-dive into our 'What If.'

Threads in the Forum, where members of this great community of ours have contributed card ideas for. I've picked out a fascinating cross-section of creative cards to share with you all. Some are viable as-is, others are just for fun. They're all great, and there's dozens more to read about in the Forum.I've added appropriate card attributes where that info was missing. I've also included the card creator's comments where available and added my own in italics where they weren't. For added fun, I mocked up artwork for each card.
